Our training courses are tailored for each individual businesses needs and we draw from a wide range of core material. This has been developed through years of experience and study of the science of developing people and businesses.
We offer a variety of training courses from half and one day sessions to on-going training programmes, with several sessions spaced weekly or more. We believe fervently in the practical application of training and actively encourage people to take what they have learned, apply it in the workplace and then feed back to us what successess they have had.
After a successful career in the Public Sector, in the mid 1990’s David moved into the training and development field with a major international training and consultancy organisation. Following this he established Axio Development and became a leader in the field of personal and team development with a particular focus on Senior Executive Leadership and Management Skills Development. The ethos that guides the delivery of these programmes is that of motivational support and accountability for the participants, together with the application of the skills learned back in the workplace. This has enabled him to forge successful partnerships with several schools and educational establishments and a number of major blue chip companies in the UK and Europe
On completion of a short career commission with the Royal Navy David joined the Financial Times before moving to a FTSE 100 company where he was responsible for implementing their innovative change programme – an initiative crucial to the success of the company’s ambitious mergers and acquisitions programme . Joining an international training consultancy, David built on his commercial experience and now makes a positive impact on individual and organisational performance through coaching and development.
Examples of the community work he has undertaken include the directorship of a youth charity, working as a business liaison ambassador for UNICEF, a seat on the area board of Young Enterprise as well as vice chair of his local Volunteer Bureau Advisory Group.
He is passionate about the individual dignity entitlement of all employees and works with organisations to improve their performance by nurturing their people and embracing change.
